The following is a compilation of the notes taken from a sixty minute conference call held February 24, 2010. The purpose of this call was to update interested parties on the progress of a study being done on the protein molecule L-Arginine. Over 2,000 people were in attendance on this call, including representatives from all over the world, many of them from the medical and nutritional professions.
An independent group of people approached Siva Arunasalam M.D., president of the High Desert Heart Institute, and asked him to do a study of the protein molecule L-Arginine. The product selected for the test was a product called ProArgi-9 Plus, a nutritional supplement marketed by Synergy Worldwide. It had been selected because of its reputation and the reputation of it’s parent company, Nature’s Sunshine, the largest and highest quality producer of nutritional food supplements. When Doctor Siva heard he would be testing a nutritional supplement he was highly skeptical but due to his knowledge and interest in the l-arginine molecule agreed to do the study. Synergy Worldwide agreed to supply the product necessary to complete the testing but had no other monetary involvement in the test.
The study began in October of 2008 and continued through March 2009. Thirty-three patients were tested and were selected due to their extreme cases of heart failure and diabetes. To qualify for the test all other known forms of medication and treatment had to have been exhausted without any improvement in condition. Due to the advanced stages of their illnesses most were chronically ill and not expected to live. Most were spending $1,500 – $5,000 for medications alone to combat their illnesses.
I have never seen a medication that has helped more across the board than ProArgi-9 Plus has in helping treat heart disease and diabetes.”

- Pulmonary hypertension is a form of high blood pressure that affects only the arteries in the lungs and the right side of the heart. It begins when tiny arteries in the lungs become narrowed. This raises the blood pressure in the arteries in the lungs making the heart’s
lower right chamber work harder resulting in the heart weakening and ultimately failing
completely. Pulmonary hypertension is not considered curable but there are treatments
available. Secondary problems include: blood clots, emphysema, scleroderma, lupus,
sleep apnea, congenital heart disease, sikle cell anemia, and liver disease.
Patient # 1
Male: Extremely high blood pressure including pulmonary hypertension and diabetes.
He was taking 5 different high blood pressure medications and 16-20 nitroglycerine tablets per day. He did not expect to live through the year. After the test he was down to 1 high blood pressure medication and 1-4 nitroglycerine tablets per day. His energy level had substantially improved, he was continuing to take the ProArgi-9 Plus and was feeling better all the time.
Patient # 2
Female : Pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure.
She was on oxygen 4 hours per day 7 days per week. No cure was available, life expectancy was 1-4 years. There as a lot of technical input related to energy levels that I did not understand and cannot report on concerning the second patient. However, the bottom line was that her energy had substantially improved, her hypertension was in remission, and she was out of her wheel chair and only using oxygen occasionally.
Patient # 3
Male : Renal failure, pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure.
This patient has a degree in electrical engineering, a law degree and was employed by a large production company, with operations all over the world, as a productivity expert. Paramedics took him to the hospital on Dec 20, 2008 where he was diagnosed with renal failure, pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure. He was not expected to live the night. After 4 days and lots of treatment he was released. After 5 days he was re-admitted to the hospital, treated for three days and released again. This cycle went on for about 6 weeks. On Feb 22, 2009 he decided he did not want to waste any more time and money in the hospital and asked to be released to go home to die. About this time his wife heard about the L-arginine study that was going on and asked her husband to become a patient. When he heard it was a nutritional supplement, he thought it was a joke, but when he found out all the treatments were free and his progress would be closely monitored he agreed to try. In his own words he said ” after 1 week I felt I was getting better. After 2 weeks I felt a definite improvement. After 4 weeks I felt better than I had felt in 20 years. At the end of the interview he was asked if he had gone back to work he said ” yes, but I spend a lot of my time now telling people about ProArgi-9 Plus and how it can help them.
At the end of the call Dr. Siva was asked if he had ever seen a medication or nutritional supplement that had worked as well as ProArgi-9 Plus. His response was “I have never seen a medication that has helped,” ( at this point he was interrupted and told that the word medication could not be used to describe ProArgi-9 Plus, that he would need to use the word nutritional supplement) he said ” You can call it what you will but as far as I’m concerned if I can prescribe it to treat or cure a disease to me it is a medication, and no I have never seen a medication that has helped more across the board than ProArgi-9 Plus has in helping treat heart disease and diabetes.”
