Dr. Siva Arunasalam – High Desert Heart Heart Institute Founder
Dr. Siva (as he prefers to be called) is the Founder and Director of the High Desert Heart Institute. Dr. Siva completed his cardiology training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was recruited by St. Mary Regional Medical Center to bring advanced cardiac care technology to the High Desert area. Initially the Institute started in a small office near the hospital but had explosive growth requiring a move to a larger facility. Because of the excellent care and treatment patients receive, the Institute is in the process of building an even larger facility on Hesperia Road so that it can better care for and service patients as well as incorporate more specialists into their operation.
High Desert Heart Institute – This institute is located in Victorville, California and provides primary care and heart disease services in an outpatient setting. This outpatient center provides all of the routine heart tests such as electrocardiography, event monitoring, Holter monitoring, and routine blood tests. In the area of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods, this institute provides in-house echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear stress testing, pulmonary function testing as well as a variety of other important diagnostic modalities. This is the first outpatient center in the High Desert area to provide EECP (Enhanced External Counter Pulsation) which is an important therapy for those patients with angina and heart failure.
The study results are still being compiled and reviewed for publication in medical journals , however the following general statement was made by Dr. Siva Arunasalam who helped direct and supervise this study:
“There was nothing else for us to try, we had tried everything with these patients. All patients showed a tremendous improvement in many, many objective data points that only can be attributed to ProArgi-9. . .”
Dr. Siva also made the following significant comment:
“. . . but what we ended up seeing was remarkable positive remodeling of the heart, positive pulmonary artery changes, pulmonary vascular changes in terms of pulmonary pressures, changes in the cardiac dimensions, changes in heart function. . .”
Because of the success of this study the High Desert Heart Institute has formally implemented an L-Arginine protocol using the ProArgi-9 Plus as part of their routine standard of care for all patients.
